I would stop and take it to either a dealer or body shop for removal. Sounds like something is wrong

HUMM3 - I know it sounds redudant but are you sure you removed the two smaller screws on the sides? It was an easy thing to remove. The tabs are flexible - I don't had problems with the two front middle and i used a plastic screwdriver blade to push down on the tab to release the spoiler. It doesn't sound right whatsoever.

Yes, yes, yes! I removed the two screws. Had to buy a Torx screw driver to do that. But, I'll try prying it off with my trusty plastic bicycle tire iron. Since it's raining here for the rest of the year I'll have plenty of time to get this sucker off.

Eclou,
I recieved and installed the splitters, they look great. For the gentlemen who is having problems removing his front lip try a putty knife, I found this works great.

Eugene,

I finally got the splitters on. Did a test drive. Backing out of the driveway I got a MASSIVE scrape. Drove back into the garage and removed the lip for inspection. Two of the phillipshead screws were worn down pretty badly and one of the speed nuts was missing (later found in the driveway). I decided to remove the splitters and just go with the plain jane lip. As a backup I've ordered two spare lips, so now I'm not going to worry about scraping anymore.

Anyway, the splitters are a great idea especially if your lip is painted.

BTW, thanks for the removal tip. By starting at one of the ends of the lip, it comes right off, kinda like a zipper. I had been pulling at the center. Guess that's why I'm considered a Klutz mechanic.

I decided against putting the front splitters on mine too after hearing about Larry's experiences. I don't plan to paint my front/side/rear lips/sills for now.

I'll have to head over to Larry's place to take a picture of his driveway because he doesn't have a camera.
