Some Pictures of my New Turbo

Here are just some pictures I snapped really quick today. I am waiting for springs, wheels to do a real shoot. Hope you enjoy.

Having a hard time looking at 4500rpms and below. My head tells me one thing - my foot tells me another.

Congrats! If i am guessing corectly your came with Michelin Pilot Sports 2? If so you lucked out! White is great on this turbo and the painted lowers look good too. Because of a steep driveway here in SF thats not an option for me. Drive her in good health! Have yo ever considered swapping the gold hood crest for a silver one? I did, but either way the car is awsome!

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Gradyex - yeah I lucked out on the Michelins. I have purchased some spacers with the correct hardware from FVD 7mm in front and 15mm in the rear. These are cheap mods to try and increase the stability and handling of the car. I reduced the pressure down to 32/37 and I like the feel much better. I will wait til the springs and alignment next week to give my final thoughts on the nervousness and floatiness of the car at high speeds and turns. Not that I have taken them to an extreme yet

ASH - the wheels will be the 20" Work Brombacher Wheel 20x8.5 and 20x12.

Here is a picture of some of the same wheels in 19 for a 993 Turbo they put them on recently. These were taken by the Eric at SPP where I am getting the wheels from. Should have them in 3-4 weeks. They will be in silver like the pictures below.

SF is a great place but to drive there would make me nervous with the steep hills ( I have stalled it a few times while getting used to the catch point ) on an incline. Also I can understand why you wouldn't want to paint something that will get scraped up pretty bad in a hurry.

In regards to the silver crest. I ordered a set from Eric at bumper plugs the day I picked it up. He has a new and improved batch coming next week that I should have soon. I mentioned to him I wanted to swap out the steering wheel crest as well and it was too funny that he was working on them as well. So that will be good.

One of the premier tire/rim shops here has a left over Techart Rear Valence piece that I might pick up and see how it would tie in. I am waiting for Eclou's CheapArt splitter as my front end mod

I agree on the wheels will definetly set you apart. I personally would get the 19's though.. You just may find that the 20's with the drop will be a little to harsh for you.. Your machine looks amazing.. Big congrats..

Smooth - I have thought about the 19's but I have seen some pictures where the 19's look good and some 19's look small. I thought I would take my chances with 20's. I will post honest results with the comfort and handling. I also purchased spacers for the OEM 19's as well to see the results with the lowered stance and the wheels coming to the edge of the fenders. I do not want to mod too fast as I like things in stages. Protomotives ECU will be next later on down the road. No need to rush.

I didn't want to the white/black wheels look. Although I think it looks great on many of the cars here - it is not for me.

I would consider painting them seal/slate grey though. Seal seems to match the "silver" seat belts I have.

Very nice - like the wheels too. Hopefully you are more careful with that painted lip than I was with my non-painted one. Litterally the 1st day I had my Turbo home -took it to the installer for my Sirius and Bluetooth and scraped it coming out of his driveway.
