DSG is different, and better.

SMG is basically a manual transmission with a computer and some hydraulic pumps actuating the clutch. DSG has two clutches and does stuff that a human actually could not do manually.

DSG way better then SMG, no comparison

But I guess if we have to wait for Porsche to come with something similar PDK ? we are in for a long wait because I have not heard anything lately about implementation for the TT anytime soon
