Bulb Mods

Decided to take as much of the yellow out for a cleaner look.
Driving Lights, Fog Lights and License Plate Lights replaced with Hoen.

On the left are the stock bulbs, on the right the Hoen bulbs. The difference is much greater in person....

Big fan of the Hoen bulbs, what did you use for the light on the end of the led cluster?

Gmoney the bulb is on the hoen website for the 997. It is a LED bulb as well - just matched to the Hoen Fogs. 4000K.

It does look good. I have some on order from someone else. I am thinking of going 5000K fogs and HID's. DS1 bulb for the main and H3 for the fogs in 5K or 6K.

Reason I asked is that I had enquired and they told me they are working on a high power LED for the 997 Turbo specifically (owner has a 997TT). This must be their regular LED W5W which I will say looks great too.

What's a LED bulb? The fogs? The parking lights? I bought the 997TT Hoen kit and none of them are LED bulbs. I also considered putting HID bulbs in my fogs but from what I can see, it wouldn't be "waterproof."

The 194 bulb on the outside of the factory LED cluster can now be replaced with a LED replacement from Hoen, its a new product.
They will have two options shortly though, a 'regular' one and a high power replacement specificaly for the TT LED cluster housing.

The light at the end of the cluster is a w5w bulb, NOT LED. Hoen may be working on one but currently does not have one for the 997 without throwing an error code.

Höen W5W Chromium side markers* - ignites amber, blends in with side marker when not in use.

They probably just mean that their bulb goes into the LED cluster that we have....

Could sombody make an entire list of all the hoen replacement bulbs, model numbers, and what they are for. There are a number of items I want to order in advance and hand to my dealer when car comes in to install before I pick it up. Thanks for making it simple for us who are not very experienced with mods.
