Nice wing but it might be a little too aggressive for the car as it sits. IMO some aggressive wheels with a little lowering would make the wing work perfectly.

man your are so sensitive
.....

Ok here goes, I had a 996TT with a factory gt2 nose and a factory decklid with wingbalde so... the wing blade was attached to the entire decklid, not just some bolt on thing like this that doesn't flow at al with any line on the 997TT especially the decklid it sits on.....

There ....... LOL

i love you, buddy! Agreed on your point but this is small compromise in esthetics to have interchangeable option.Check your spelling on sensitive in your post...geez must i always be your 6 speed spelling instructor! Here are some pix with wing down...i believe the wing in the down position gives more flow with body of car...

does the "little one" like it with the wing down?
is that the lowest it goes? the design looks a bit like the new gt2, i guess i only dont like those chrome lift pieces, but those are seen with the stock wing up too...

drbill

it's your car so mod it however you want.

my concern would be any potential high speed instability due to the increase in rear downforce. you may want to add a front splitter as the stock 997tt aerodynamics show some positive lift in the front and some downforce at the rear.

I like it a lot and since its totally reversible I'd go for it.

BTW, nice family lol. My little brother (7 years old) used to love the 997TT wing that raises and lowers, I'm sure he would've loved to see a bigger aftermarket one.
