Well the Gallardo had the fastest laptime. Good driver in NSX vs. not so good driver in the TT and added bias of BM videos = NSX win. The only place you see a NSX win is on a BM video. Sad but true.

thanks for the video Top... I agree with Retesh, the NSX driver knew exactly how to drive that car, the Porsche could have taken a better line and pushed some more; just the same though, fun to watch (since I am just sitting here in my robe drinking my breakfast)

997 GT3 obliterated the NSX-R in BM race recently... i'm pretty sure i posted the link here sometime last week, but too lazy to look for it

oh, and apparently Keichi Tsuchiya, who is usually the driver in th NSX-R that wins (sometimes his personal car) bought a 997 GT3 for himself.

if you can't beat 'em... join 'em!

seriously, i'm not convinced that the races are rigged or staged... i've seen GT3's win every race vs the JDM cars so far (the 996GT3 just romped away from everyone else)... and there was the video too where the Murcielago and Gallardo similarly slaughtered the JDM's, including the NSX...

Props where its due... the NSX-R is an awesome driver's car. There's a chap who goes by the internet name "Flemke" that owns a McLaren F1 (the blue one featured in Evo magazine frequently) and a Carrera GT, both modified by Olaf Manthey. He also owns a 997GT3, a 996GT3 RS, and a Manthey GT3 M440, ALL of which he drives extensively at the Nurburgring. He also has a 996 Cup car that he races there, during the 24 hour race.

While he concedes that the GT3 is the faster car-- thanks to more power and better brakes-- he believes that the NSX is the better handling car.

That says a lot for a design that's very old...

Is this the Link --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAnCyn0Ygzo

Btw, you don't have to convince me of the capabilities of a NSX-R.

I've seen a 996 GT3 get smashed by all the other cars on the track in a BM vid, and I've also seen a 996 TT smash everyone even though it was basically drifting the whole race. I've seen the gallardo come in last place as well, the BM videos are all over the place.

Watch this race and tell me you dont think it's scripted. And the 997 GT3 .3 seconds on fastest lap compared to NSX-R.. LOL

OH and this one, the GT-R (halo) miraculously comes back on the last straight to win the race

Would a manual equipped TT have done better?
