What do you think of the new macadamia color

Just ordered a turbo for spring delivery. Have to make a decision on color in the next few weeks. That new color that Porsche is showing on the new Turbo cab is interesting called Macadamia. Like to get your opinons. Thanks

I dont like the Macadamia color to much. I really think the color depeds on what your doing with the car. I would never get a black car for a daily driver but since I only drive it rarely, black works great for me. Everyday car is more of a white or silver.

I'd like to see it in the flesh. I'll bet that color would be death on resale.

Go fo it, I know I would. I really like that luxury look it adds to the 997 Turbo. I think it will turn out great, especially since more are going for the Black,White and other shades.

There was a thread a week or two ago that showed pictures of a members 997 C2S in Macadamia and it looked fantastic, its suggested to go for Natural Brown or even Sand beige leather interior but If I had the chance of purchasing a 997 Turbo, I wouldnt hesitate to go for Macadamia/Coccoa with the full interior trim.

I've had my new '08 Macadamia Metallic C2S since Aug. 24th. Everyone who sees it, loves the color. The car sparkles beautifully, with gold-colored flecks for the metallic. It has to be seen to be appreciated. Also, based on the initial reaction to the color, I don't believe the comments about poor resale. But who cares, I LOVE the color of my car. Actually, I posted pictures of it on the 997 site back on Sept. 8th, under the thread "My '08 Macadamia Metallic C2S - Pics." (I sometimes peruse the Turbo site just to see how the rich folks are doing!)

Any photos available? Or is it just a "swatch" on their website?

great color, but have to agree that it would be tough on resale.

it reminds me of the old brown color that porsche offered in the late 70's and early 80's. i'm not sold it personally but who knows, it could be the new black

Probably if it was a daily driver, Basalt black is a nice alternative as it has some gold sparkles in it.
