no way in hell i will pay 120k for a kit.
600HP for 40k sounds more "reasonable"

considering the price difference between 600~650, i bet it's capable of handling WAY more HP than 650HP once you get the kit set up, which might be the good thing

Geez...120k for 650hp,that make no sense at all.Some more marketing strategy is required here.

The desert is HOT..VERY HOT. We are fortunate to be able to engineer our intercoolers in the desert where they can be put to their test. Cooling is a fundamental aspect of all forced induction engines and the 997TT is no different. The OEM intercoolers on the 997TT are a slight improvement over the 996TT, though essentially the same design and efficiency rate. Our ClubSport intercoolers help reduce heat by reduced restriction and improved design. Our hand built aerospace intercooler cores are the latest in technology and incorporate our smoother flow cast aluminum and polished end tanks. Improved flow is attributed to larger end tank cavities, smoother airflow path and larger diameter inlet and outlet diameters. I don't think the $120K option is a kit - sounds more like a complete engine rebuild - new turbos and increase to 3.8 liters + other stuff.

Are you sure that price for the 650 isn't a full conversion to make it into an RT12? Meaning that the body, suspension, engine, etc. are being changed....?

Just engine, exhaust, ECU, clutch - check the link the first poster provided - it lays it all out.

it's not worth it at all

base 997TT( no options) $126,200 + conversion $119,500 = $245,700 I would buy RT12 rather than buy the conversion. Both are 650HP but the RT12 nicer and lighter
