I agree, there is too much labor in remanufactiuring a sealed part in my opinion. The LED tails are very high quality, they could turn these things out in no time at all.

I am already working on a full replacement from overseas. Its not that cheap or easy as one thinks... BTW the those rear taillights were already available and there was no development. You can see them on alibaba.com.

He told me that 3 months ago. Has yet to send me the LED info or resistors he used and a wiring diagram.

But doing this still requires the OEM core cost, parts, and labor.

Misunderstood... You said in a PM that you would draw me a diagram or tell me what parts you used. I did say I would pay you. If you dont want to, thats cool. I was just trying to get rid of the 4 sets I have. But different LEDs require different resistance, etc. Does not matter now, we have something in the works as this pull apart, solder, glue, blah blah is rediculous.

nah man I sent those! If they got lost or not delivered I can send more out. I appreciate that too.

As far as the OEM ones, I need to know what is being put in there so I can order 4 or 5 of everything. Lets talk email and do something then.

I am not sure about you guys but I am not interested in Vivid's DRL solution where it stays white and utilizes the original marker lights as turn (it doesn't look safe to have such small light as turn signal).

I want something like Speedart's where you have dual color LED bulbs - staying white when the car is running (probably spliced off of the marker light?) and turning amber when turn light is used

I guess you have to remove front bumper to disconnect the LEDs. Any instructions on how to do this? Thanks

Not sure about the turbo, but factory instructions for the 997 GT2 do not require bumper removal. Under panel removal, front wheel removal, and wheel well panel removal.

I'm with SBKim, this is the only solution for me. I don't want 1 little LED being my signal light (no offense intended).

Techart does a nice one for the Cayenne, but the one for the 997TT looks terrible and needs their whole bumper. I also don't like the stick on look that SW has found by adding it on below the stocker.

If this could hit for under $750 I am sure there would be buyers
