looking forward to the stage 2 kit, when do you think the stage 2 kit will be available? If I need to change the timing chain for the engine, is it necessary to remove the supercharger unit?

Vf's been working on an Audi R8 kit. Talked to Nik at motor4toys. Looks like they're building another Beast! Can't wait to see it finished.

just a gut feeling with no updates on the kit, Been follwing this thread and other threads regarding the stage 2 for quite some time now and keep hearing that it'll be released in a few months, maybe it'll be release next summer.. just gotta wait.

 

I assume the Group Buy is for the new version of the VF SC kit ! I'm going to confirm what I am buying !!

It is the 'NEW' V3 charger,so I would say it is the one they are working on!

I really like your car ! I believe the V3 charger is 6psi so should have little more power than the 5.5psi. I need to have it shipped to Hong Kong, then bring them into China. Hopefully, can install it by Feb :-(. Can you post your progress/impression after the SC installation ? Thanks.

 

I bought a used kit (not the latest greatest) but I will post my results when done!
May be a while however as it is winter here and the car won't see any road time until March(next year)

 

Oh I C. It usually rains in Vancouver this time (lots of snow in Whistler !!). I'll go to Whistler to ski towards end of Jan. Good luck to you and look forward to your post !
