My 997 C2S has PCM version 1.0. How do I get it to version 2.1 ?

Pretty sure I pressed menu and trip at the same time.

 

That's easy . . . . . . Just throw money at your dealer or hope your PCM fails and you're still in warranty.

Oh ya, you can take your chances and buy an eBay unit and hope it plugs 'n plays w/o too much drama. Of course you'll need new software as well.

Are you experiencing problems w/ you current PCM? Later versions will just give you MP3 single disc playback, phone features and would compatible w/ later NAV software (ie. DVD).

Hmm mine already plays mp3 discs. On a side note, i have noticed that the clock in my c2s runs slow. I think every week or so it is probably running a minute slow...
