There is a lot more to driving a Ferrari than getting in the gas and shifting with the paddles. Your 997S must have been built the same day and side by side as Dmoneys.

Look sorry im not as savy with the car knowledge as you...I hope i grow up to be just like you, bitter because some 23 year old innocently thought his 997S kept up with a F430. I guess you tackfully took this as an opportunity to belittle me and my family by, one by saying we cant drive and two that my car was built besides Dmoneys C4S. I guess your bank account alllowed you to buy a GT3 congrats, but unfortunatly for you it didnt come with class. there is my two cents.

Maybe the F430 was in 'snow and ice' mode or something lol... if that makes that much of a difference I don't know.

Actually, it does. Putting it in "snow and ice" mode makes the car start out in second gear and the traction control becomes ultra sensitive, cutting power from the engine at any sign of slippage. That could explain the results with the C2S. Very good detective work!!

I smoked a Ferrari before from a roll!! Oh, but it was a really old 355...

What can I say man? Enjoy your car, and let us know when you smoke the enzo or whichever car it is! My car has managed to shock me in various situations where it could hang with higher horsepower cars (aston, 360, cobra's, etc.) In all seriousness though, I feel the money was well spent on the "S".

Are you sure it wasn't a 360 Ferrari?

Cheers!

Well I have a 06 997S cab (moded and faster than either of my 360's), and a 06 430 gearshift car. The 430 is going to win here, when drivers have equal skill.
