Guys Where has this gone?

I thought this started when somebody said that his 997S took a F430?

I just want to know if it's for sale? How Much?

This comes down to one thing DRIVER. My GT3 (3075lbs x 415hp) is close (VERY CLOSE) to my F430 and that's it. No 997/996 stock will stay with it. 355hp 3130lb Porsche vs. 490hp 3197lb Ferrari.

I agree he could have had it in snow and ice like others have stated, but this really slows the car. My opinion is he just was scared of the road, cops, light, dark, wet, who knows.

Who cares how old we are if we all just like cars. Correct?

I have a supercharger on my S and am no faster than an F430 at VIR in (road course in Virginia, for those out in Cali and such).

No worries. I just had to get in there and explain my side because I'm young too. You might imagine that those of us that have made it totally on our own (I grew up in a trailer) get this a lot. Have a good one, and I think you handled yourself really well with the wife stuff. Geesh. It goes hateful no matter what!

No way can it stay with a 360. My 360 Spider I think is very close to the 430. I can drive my 360 at higher speeds (120's to 170's) and feel damn comfortable with the top down. I don't know the performance numbers between the two but the 430 feels heavier with a loose rear end compared to my 360. I am only replacing it because I like new.

Porsche's lose their stability at high speeds IMO. The under steer that occurs in all (except awd) Porsches is so exagerated at high speeds it's crazy. Ferrari's do not have this. Funny one of the videos showed a GT3 and F430 on a big oval track. Put them elsewhere and then make a video. Until the new 997 GT3 I have never felt that comfortable in a Porsche staying above 120mph(Except my 997 Cup Car). Just sold BTW a 996 05' Turbo S (515 rwhp) rocket.

I am not dissing Porsche's I love them. Just my feelings on the cars.

Dude, your feedback is precious. Thanks for it. Hey, we have the same trucks too. Only thing that makes me worry about your opinion is that you don't ski a Malibu! (I'm totally joking here, but I AM a Malibu guy, but also a wakeboarder).

Nice garage.

Are you selling or trading the 360?

Don't know for sure. I have a couple of friends interested. I don't get my new one until Feb so I'm not in a big rush.
