If you want the best laser jammer, get the Laser Interceptor, AL, or LPP.

There is some misinformation on here about the K40. The K40 may be able to detect radar but it can't jam any lidar guns used by the police. I find it interesting that you can find all kinds of laser jammers that work on youtube but there are none of the K40 working. How can it be that such a great device like the K40 doesn't have any fans that want to show it in action?
It's because it doesn't work as advertised.

The only video of the K40 in action shows it failing as usual:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=9fwJCRDk2Ik

It is very interesting that the K40 site is so pretty but they don't have any videos of their laser jammer in action. All they have are links to people that have installed them on their cars but no actual laser jammer tests. The only independent testing that was done was on the radar detection portion of the K40 not the "laser jamming" crap.

Be sure and read the fine print on their website:

http://k40.com/images/pdf/tech/CalibreBrochure.pdf

K40 will pay any "radar" speeding tickets you receive for the first year not lidar tickets. I wonder why they couldn't make the lidar ticket guarantee??
Anyone care to guess?

Because it can't jam lidar guns.
How the hell do you buy these lasar jammer crap... can you not instal both in the car???? I go to the interceptor site and it wont let you do **** but go in a circle.....

I say V1 but i need laser protector its all they use these days

I love the cordless escort.

I have more then 1 car so it is easy to just switch it over. I also have the plug in too but it runs fine on batteries

If it is the Escort Solo S2 that you are referring to, you might want to upgrade to a corded detector like the Valentine One. Look how poorly a brand new Escort Solo S2 performed at the latest independent unbiased radar detector test.

This is why you want to avoid battery operated detectors.

Instant on is the worst of the worst - cant do anything about it and cops are using it like crazy now even though you are legally not allowed to be given a ticket based solely on instant-on because its extremely inaccurate, but try fighting that one

cops are only suppose to use instant on to get an "idea" of the speed and then switch to a conventional Ka band for accuracy - this shows how the only purpose of the radar is income

lidar is the best but can only be used when the cop is stationary, cant be used during movement cause it needs steadyness, but its fast, very very accurate and because its light, you are legally allowed to "shift" the light....

Question Legality

Is there a source which tells where radar detectors and/or laser jammers are legal or illegal?
