Techart sideskirts: Perfect fit?

Techart sideskirts: Perfect fit?
For those of you with the Techart sideskirts, did the body shop who installed them have any complaints about them? Or did they just bolt on perfectly to the body?
Are you (as a picky owner of a Porsche) happy with the look and fit on your car? Any gaps between the body and skirts? Were they mounted too high or low?
Just trying to do some research before I buy them. I'm leaning towards going to an experienced body shop (e.g. TY328 and Synergy should expect a PM from me soon). Pictures look great and all, but I know all too well that pictures don't tell the full story.
Thanks in advance.

I saw them mounted on a 997 the other day. It was done by a porsche dealer. I could see the 2 way tape at a couple of parts. I think the sides look great as is. The front spoiler looked nice.

Spyder,
just go see Alex @ Sharkwerks since u're in SF. the install is very important. they fit nice but still need adjustment. aN average bodyshop won't bother to spend the extra time to install/seal them properly.
on the above comment, even the 996 GT3 side skirts were double side taped from factory when new but they managed to do a perfect job that u can't tell. that's how important the install is. hope this helps.

My dealer had to have the car for half a day when the sideskirts came in just so they could check the fitment and line em up. then they sent them to be painted, mine look great, no complaints at all.

Agreed - the install and paint match is mission critical. Cecil @ BodyStyle in San Jose painted my front GT3 bumper and Techart rockers about three times in order to get the perfect paint match. The challenge is the plastic bumper w/ high metallic paint in comparison to the paint on the metal.
Fitment is also key as many lazy bodyshops use black or clear filler inside the gap between the rocker and the body. This is lame and looks like *BEEP*. You want an ultra-tight fit and no filler so the rocker is as tight as physically possible to the body. Large clamps and very strong glue is needed to ensure the correct results.
The only two places that I would trust for this type of job would be Alex at Sharkwerks (Fremont, CA) and Cecil at Bodystyle (San Jose, CA). I have seen multiple cars fitted with my setup at both of these shops and the work performed was flawless.
