DICE Ipod install in 997 with Bose System

Anyone have any experience with the DICE install & it's operation with the PCM w/o Nav in there car?
I am considering going this route and would appreciate any feedback. The DICE rep informed me that their unit would replace my CD changer and the Ipod would work like like a changer on the PCM.

I've read all the feedback on the Dension system. The install, PCM problems & numerous updates to it seem problematic. The DICE is suppose to be a simple direct connection in place of the changer. Plus the PCM or the Ipod can be used vs being at the mercy of the PCM with the Dension system.
I glad it is working for you, but all the concerrns others have had, bothers me.

For what its worth .. I have installed over three units and they have been rock solid with the latest firmware (2.05). The install is fairly simple, you plug in the fiber cable from the CDC and splice the power.

I personally haven't heard anything about the DICE unit and the website doesn't even list Porsche as being compatible.
