Evo install is about 15-17 hours.

You must know someone own a Smog station.
On the EVOM SC parts only ~$12,000 Labor add another ~$1500, someone can corrected me? Good Luck!

The EVO supercharger has yielded some high horsepower cars! I prefer the RUF for its OEM looks and install, but the price and installation in Texas (out of state for me) make it less desirable.

I agree. Since you have a C4S, it probably would be better to go up to the turbo.

Now if you had a C2S, it would be a different story since the only 2WD turbo available from Porsche is the GT2. Supercharging a C2S seems pretty justified to me since the price gap between a factory car with comparable horsepower is so much more.

Yeah, just wait it out. There will be tons of used 997TT's out by then, considering lease terms should be up by then.

If any of you want to 'ride' in a SCd car, you can watch my videos I posted on here of 7 or so laps at VIR. May help. It's an EVO, by the way. It's stronger than a 997 GT3 in the straights, but not much. They have better gearing for the track.
