Those skirts look really really nice! Makes it stand out from other 997's. Does Porsche make oem side skirts for the 997? I didn't see any on Suncoast.

Looks great! Are you getting a wing also? I am trying to figure out how much it would cost to get a wing such as the Misha GTM painted...

Thanks for all the comments fellas!

Meanmachine: Who makes the headlight finishers? I never thought of that, but now that you mention it, I may have to look into it!

Misterpink: Your car and pics served as major inspiration and catalyst for my car since those high res pics of yours really show how good the 997 can look with some additional bodywork!

Porscheenvy:No OEM sideskirts for the 997, but we have a few options! Rinspeed, Speedart, and of course, Techart!

M32911S: Still lookin forward to your project, Jay! Did the wheels come in yet? As for the wing, I'm saving up for the rear Ruf carbon decklid with rising ducktail! Its real expensive though!

Thanks again, guys! Happy holidays!

You can get them as a optional part when you order the car new, it replaces the "chrome" pins on the headlights for coloured one's.

An alternative would be the Techart headlight coverst that come with these pins that replace the oem chrome's.

Nope still waiting on the wheels. I ordered them Nov 28 and the order was put in to HRE on Nov 29. They said 4-5 weeks but also mentioned that they will try to have them done in 3-4 weeks. So my guess on the eta is about a week or so...can't wait! I would love a CF rear wing to offset the white...pm me some prices you found on the Ruf wing and any info on other cf wings...

Thanks Alex! You've been very helpful during my car's process of customization (you and james actually did the first mod, and I really like my cars stock!).

I'll be over at Sam's (Premier) in a week, so I may stop by to say hi and see what engine mods are available. Last time I was there, you really got me thinking about the Tubi exhaust!

Jay, what are the details on your HRE C21's? What finish for the centers and lip? Did you go for the 305 size tires with the aggressive offset to match?

I ended up installing my coilovers and wheels at the same time, since its best to get an alignment at that point also. Of course, you could just install your coilovers now, that way you can feel the difference that the HRE's make.

Our pleasure and anything we can do to help etc... Sam will do a fine job. The RuF bumper looks tought/custom but I'm sure he'll manage

Tubi=sexy sound that's for sure!

I ended up going with brushed aluminum centers and polished lip. I did ask for a more aggressive offset, but for now will be using 295 tires since I have the Bridgestone RE050 that was put on Oct 1 (Beidgestone's run wider than other brands...they are as wide as 305 PS2). I had the coil-overs installed two days ago along with an alignment and corner balancing. The handling improvement is very noticeable and the car feels much better than stock!

Yes it was! Its nice to see a fellow 6speeder out and about! I really liked your car too! White is a very nice color, and you have my favorite model from the 996 series! It definitely caught my eye as I was walking from the parking lot.
