05 S 30K miles range for 57K?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...QQcmdZViewItem
Just curious peoples thoughts? I had located a local (boston area) 05 non S with 15K miles for 55K and thought that was an amazing deal. (car very clean) But this is an S, better optioned (more miles) for a few grand more? I am not in a huge rush (may wait till spring) but if I find a great deal prior o na clean car will buy....
Is this as great of a deal as I think?

KBB is 55K+
for excellant condition with 30K miles 56K, so this place is willing to take 1K more then trade in value roughly, not bad... just wish it were Boston area so I could see and drive it in person....

I hope that the asking price includes a CPO. Also, chime the forum and see if someone near the 997 local will check it out on your behalf...

looks like still under factory warranty
Looks like still covered under factory warranty, would need to call them and ask when it expires. just ahve see S 997s 05 in the mid 60K range so that this was unusual... in the sping it may not be as unusual with lease returns etc..... I am trying to gauge whats the right $ on the right car to buy now vs waiting till spring.....

Get PPI with a local indy for full inspection. Engine, suspension, body/frame.
Everything in life is negotiable. This time of year is slow for car sales, perfect time to offer @ 49K and goes up to your target price. Be firm with used car saleman.

Not a bad asking price from a dealer. Based on the VIN I suspect you have close to a year left on the 4yr/50K warranty. Mileage is a bit on the high side for a 05 P car but the risk is minimized w/ the remaining factory warranty.
Nicely optioned (ie seats, BOSE, Sport Chrono, etc). No NAV but that shouldn't deter you if the car is clean and unabused. Having a Porsche dealer do a PPI for a couple of hundred is good practice.
Good luck!
