Yes, I did. I've been going to the same service department for about 7 years now, and the manager knows me and my cars well. Just like all things in business, it's who you know, not what you know

Service managers and good service departments make all the difference, especially with these cars, since they can potentially be a real pain the ***!

daytrader is infamous around these parts
That's typical of most Porsche dealers raising issues about aftermarket stuffs. They can't void your warranty if the causes were not related to the aftermarket stuffs.

I love Circle Porsche in Long Beach. I have a really good business relationship with the service rep. his name is Alberto. He is awesome. I have aftermarket headers, mufflers, intake syst. and brought the car in due to bad cats. He didn't even care about my mods. They replaced my cats. with no problem.

Funny, the technicians at Circle Porsche even gave me compliment on my mod. I always received 15% discount on parts from their parts dept.

Is your car a TIP? I know there is/was a recall of certain (build date) TIP transmissions awhile back. 6 spd transmissions (to the best of my knowledge) are rock solid. Clutches go but the symptom is usally slippage; not leaks.

Let us know the details when you get them.
