Leather scratches repair possible?

Hi all,

I have noticed a few minor scratches near the side of the seat bolster Has anyone try DIY leather repair kit? Are they just like snake oil? Or I should try leather repair shop?

Thanks

cant you just use some matte leather dye? or shoe polish?
i have used the other repair kit that you use templates for different grain patterns and heat the material, it worked ok.

Get a pro in your area. These guys work magic, I've seen it first hand. In less than an hour they can have the seat back to new, and it should last.

Try noticing how you are getting in/out of the seat too - usually rear pocket buttons can be the culprit. Altering your entry can save the leather.

I learned this the hard way, was wearing jeans with buttons on the back pocket and scratched the seat a little..

Didn't know they made True Religion jeans for men.

Just kidding- my wife owns a pair, and one night we were walking toward the garage, and I saw those rear pocket buttons, and quick save: we took her car, LOL!
