I backed into a car today and the bumperettes got scratched up, the actual bumper seems fine but it is unaligned, specially under the engine compartment. Right under the engine compartment in exactly the middle there is like a perfect circle on the bumper that protrudes out, it looks like if the bumper would come like that but it definitely didnt have that before, anyone know wat it is?

 

hmm, pic would help. ur probly looking at a new bumper cover. maybe you can get a takeoff one or upgrade to after market one. repairing stock bumper is $$.

 

Don't know what the 997 bumper cover cost but you can take it to a body shop and see what they can do. I have seen them do some amazing things with bumper covers.
Open the lid and remove all screws. remove the tail lights and remove the screw there also. A few screws in the wheel wells and maybe the bottom also. After that the bumper snaps out where there were no screws.
Keystone also has a bumper cover repair service.
Mine looked like crap after hitting the armco at the track and it came back from the shop looking very close to new, so close that nobody has ever noticed it. Cost me my time and $400.00 for repaint by the shop.
