Lloyd mats...where to buy?
I am wanting to purchase a set of Lloyd floor mats for my c2s and also (if possible) for my mazda 3 daily driver. Where is the best place to get them from? Thanks again.

Did you ever get the mats? I'm looking too.
Also, if anyone's gotten them embroidered with a light color like silver or yellow, I'd love to know how they hold up to dirt.

I had a good experience with Pelican Parts. If you want options such as a colored edge trim or a red "S" on a "Carrera 4S" logo, call them up and make sure the sales rep understands. The web interface can be a bit cryptic when it comes to very specific options like this.

I went ahead and ordered from usspeedonline. Free shipping!
I can totally imagine my **** self getting all stressed out about dirt on yellow or silver embroidery. So I did black on black.

I received my order today. Can someone please explain to me what all the fuss is about? Sure, they look nice, but in my opinion the factory mats were just fine. I guess if you need to have a neon yellow border to attract attention to your mats, then Lloyds is definitely for you. But I ordered mine in black on black. So I care more about the fit and finish.
They don't fit. Nowhere on the Lloyd Mats web site do they say anything about being larger than the stock mats, but they are, and there's a little card in the box that proudly tells you so. Why is this a good thing? Considering the cutouts around the seat mounts are too small, I would much rather the mats were too small than too big. And why would the cutouts of custom mats be too small? I don't get it.
Also, nowhere on the web site do they say anything about a proprietary mat restraint system that uses plastic clasps like you find on luggage or fanny packs. What was wrong with the simple velcro solution that Porsche and nearly everyone else have implemented? Velcro works and mats are easy to remove and replace. The Lloyd clasps will require more time and attention to get in and out of the car and will definitely **** off the guys at my car wash -- that is if they don't accidentally tear them out.
I'm not impressed.
Can someone who has these please explain how you can overlook the bad fitment?

I do not like the Lloyd mats at all. I have had mine for 1 year, the edges are turning up and the carpet matting looks worn. Only 6k year on my c2s, so fairly light use.
The little clip mechanism, is a joke. The clips do not hold the mat from sliding forward very well. I have to reclip mine after every drive. The velcro mechanism Porsche uses works well, I don't know why Lloyd mats need a unique clip mechanism. BWM and others use velcro, so I don't think it is a proprietary design.
I would not waste my money on Lloyd mats, unless you really need a special color combination or text on the mats.
