is there a 993 Turbo looking wing that fits our 997's?

Curious if there is a wing out there for the 997 that resembles (does not have to be spot on by any means) that style of the older 993 Turbos...
something like this? thanks....

snowrider204 is infamous around these parts
i love that old 993 turbo wing look. i think that they used to call that a "picnic table." i haven't seen any for a 997. i think that it may be kind of difficult to fabricate because the rear lid on the 997 seems to be so much shorter than the older 993.

hmmmmm could it work?

I am willing to pay for some farbrication..... does this "melted cheese" come pre attached to the rear hatch, wonder if I picked up a old wing and got a decent fabricating shop and coughed up some cash it could work?

I agree...it's a beautiful wing. That's the same looking black 993 turbo with the 'whale tail' (I think) I fell in love with on the freeway when I was a teen not too long ago and made me lie through my teeth to my wife why my 997 was a 'practical' choice.

I believe it's all one piece with the deck lid, that would take some serious body shop skills to pull that off..ps mickfluff good to see you here, your tips were shipped out last Sat,

I agree BUT why not make it a bolt on piece(wing bolts to factory decklid).I have played with quite a bit of fiberglass over the years and this probably could be done but not without spending some serious dough!
Wish I had a wing to try or look at in person.

Fabricators

any section on 6speed where I could track down a decent fabricator maybe willing to take on this project? (modifying this wing to fit 997, I will supply the product, pay some fabricating costs etc... of course)

By work, do you mean could someone get it on your car or would it be aerodynamically sound? Maybe the wing thing is just bling (say that fast 3 times), but I'd like to think that the shape is functional at some level, at least on the autobahn

There is actually a spoiler like what you're thinking about. I forgot which comapny manufactures it, but IIRC, it could be Rinspeed or RUF. I need to do some checking and get back to you. It was ~ $3-4K IIRC
