I am like 2" off the ground and had mine clear-armored (3M film I believe) over the paint and it works like a charm!

you're the reason I asked about painting the lower lip and upper grill.. ahahahha
In the end I decided to leave it unpainted. But I opted to not have them install the little headlight washer nipples...

Either way you need to watch how you drive....I saw an unpainted lip the other day and it was all scratched up - looked like crap with all sorts of colored pavement scratches

Painted Lip

Agreed, I'm a huge advocate of having the lip painted. It does complete the look without making your front appear like there's a cheap plastic add-on. You have to be careful in either case, approach driveways at angles, slow on speed bumps and watch out for potholes. But that was the same when I had the standard front bumper on. Pics attached...

that looks great steve. only if i was careful enough and didnt have such a steep and narror driveway, then.. i would paint my lip. btw, what kind of GT3 decklid/spoiler do you have? oem gt3? aero? or aftermarket?
