Sexy black 997s massaged @ GMG recently.,,

A 997s we recently did for a San Diego area client of ours.

Bisltein PSS for PASM
AWE full exhaust system.
GMG Grille screen kit

Enjoy!!

As always we were very pleased with the AWE system in terms of fitment and sound.. We have installed a few dozens of these systems and have been very happy with them.

Grille screens require bumper removal.

Install of PSS kit combined with an agressive street set up for alignment.

Rinspeed wheels in 20" look the part!!

Enjoy.

We have PSS kits in stock along with GT3 front bumpers..

I know you are likely forced to sell the AWE system as a "race only" system and I don't want to paint you into a corner with our friends at CARB but I'm curious...

I'm guessing that the full AWE system wouldn't pass a stringent CA smog inspection due to the different cats. But I also know from experience that 99.9% of the time CA smog checks are a quick visual inspection and a tail pipe sniff.

Do you know if this system has successfully passed CA smog requirements?

You are pretty much right on, as long as they see cats under there and it passes a sniffer you will be fine. Just make sure the car is nice and warmed up as you don't want it to go back into open loop and let the cats cool off to much.

Keep in mind that cars in Ca. that are bought after 2005 I believe don't have to have them smogged for 7 years I believe.

Our exhaust will pass a sniffer test in all 50 states. You shouldn't have any issues with inspection.

Cheers!

Yes the systems are offered as race only systems. However several customers have resold their vehicles with the systems on them and have had no problems with passing the test.

Luckily our cars are relatively low emissions vehicles to begin with .

I think the only resistence you may get is if you purchase a car used and take it to the dealer to get it smogged. If the tech knows what he is looking at ... That may be a problem.

The cars do pass the sniffer test and do run very clean..

Hope that helps...

So who needs a system????????

Thank you.
