I had the Pearl on an Audi S4, looks great for the first few years and then it starts to change colour and look like it is cream/beige.

Nice pics.

I saw a 996 Carrera this summer that was bright turquoise, I have been wondering what the colour might have been called. Looking at your pics I'm guessing either Ocean Jade Metallic or Jade Green. Definitely not my thing, but very unique and attention-getting.

I would love to see a 997 in each of the following colors. Any photoshop experts on here?

Amazon Blue Pearl (aka Amazon Green Pearl in some countries)

Metallic Green

Rock Green Metallic

Silver Green Metallic

Adriatic Blue is not the same as Turquoise. Further, there have been at least four different shared of Turquoise. Here's a few of them.

Adriatic

Adriatic

Turquoise

Turquoise Metallic

Maritime, Mexico and Turquoise Green

Blue Turquoise

On the above photo titled "Maritime, Mexico, and Turquoise Green" , I believe that the middle car may be Riviera Blue, a standard color for 95 993s. Your thoughts?
BTW, thanks again for posting these! I love this stuff.

Hard to say. It's usually a toss up when comparing Riviera to Mexico, especially on the older cars. In person you can tell the difference -- Riviera is slightly darker. But in pics it's hard to tell.

BTW, the green car may actually be a paint-to-sample called "Mint Green". Porsche made a Turquoise Green, but it was a metallic color and that car is clearly not metallic.

Mexico

Riviera

Mexico Blue is gorgeous. I like the Nordic Gold that was delivered on a number of Targas last year too.

Many of the special order colors are highly attractive, but expecting increased resale values is unrealistic. Buy it because you like it, but only if you will keep the car long term.

The bottom car is this picture is mint green. A popular color in the early '90s on 911s and 968s.

The Seinfeld TurboS is blue turquoise (code 3AS) as well.

A teacher at my son's school had a 993 in that color, and I always loved it. Thought it was a cool bold color.
