I use a Colgan for AX events to avoid 'cone scuffs'. I also use it for extended road trips. The fastening technique is much improved and you don't the 'rub marks' that bras used to leave.
I never liked the 'orange peel' like texture and unavoidable end lines that a clear bra exhibits.
I know clear bras are very popular but we're all entitled to an opinion.

clear bra all the way. Just do the complete hood and front fenders and you will not even see a line. Line issues are a thing of the past. There is not yellowing of the bra as well if you go with one of the better brand of film like ventrueshield. Using a bra will induce scratches no matter how you fasten it.
