PICS: Darth Vader's sled
#31
Finally, got a buddy of mine to take some pics today.
It was an awesome day today in the Bay Area! First off, I met up with TY328 and Synergy (he showed up later).
Drove over to Santana Row. TY328 and Synergy's cars are LOUD!
Parking and misc Photos of my car:
Yes, Tony, I can hear you saying, "Time for a detail!!!" I'll give Cecil a call.
On the way home, Daytonaviolet let me hear the straight pipes on his GT3! Man that thing sounded AWESOME!!!
Overall, it was a great day. Met some new friends, had a great drive to and from Santana Row, got to see some nice cars, and now I get to take a nap before heading out to a party!

Your wheels is in Textured Black?

Yes, I went with flat (textured) black for my wheels. I figured the chrome lip would make a nice contrast with a dull center color, similar to brushed center and chrome lip. Plus every one else has glossy black centers, so I wanted to try to be different

I'm not sure who he had fabricate the piece for him, but let's hope he chimes in and gives us his source later. It's very good quality and is very easy to install (it just clamps right on to the existing bumper).
I don't know if it will fit a C4S, because the bumpers are different lengths. The screws and spacing are based on the exhaust locations. I can make some measurements later to see.

That was one of the most frequently asked questions yesterday! All I can say is that they cost quite a bit, but Ben at Wheelsboutique (sponsor here) made me a sweet deal on them.
I really felt that while they were on the higher side of costs, relative to other wheels, the look and quality of the wheels were worth every penny to me. Every single rivet on the wheel has "HRE" engraved on it. The chrome and flat black finishes were top notch, and they've put up with my "spirited" driving style so far. Most of all, they really add an exotic look to the car, since you can tell they are definitely not factory.
PM me for more specifics.

I would be really tempted to buy one of those CF pieces if the price were right. Especially since it just attaches to the existing bumper. I'm very envious of you guys who can run body kits or lowered cars - I scrape every entry/exit of my driveway.
