There is a button to activate sport exhaust and exhaust tips are different from regular tips.

The easiest way is to look at the exhaust tips. There should be 4 tips but one large and one small on each side.

And if you look underneath, there are 2 exhaust pipes on each side, with separate pipes going into each of the 2 tips on each side, whereas with a non-PSE S model, there is one exhaust pipe entering the dual tips on each side. Regarding the button, if the car has Sport Chrono, there is no button, since the PSE is activated with the "Sport" button on dash. The best way to tell is the size of tips as described above, with one smaller than the other on each side.

Another way to notice - it sounds sinister!

Obviously tough to say without a comparo to stock, but the above pointers should get you there. Did you not obtain the original window sticker? Should be listed there.

so stock s tips are dual holes but same size and PSE S tips are one big and one smaller, so actually two styles?

See post #5 above again - non-PSE has one outlet on each side going into dual tips (same size) while PSE has two outlets each side going into dual tips (different sizes) - I believe this is correct.
