exhaust suggestions?

can anyone suggest an exhaust that is quiet at low revs, but screams at high revs? I'm just not satisfied with the oem at high revs.

The only one I know of which can do both ( at the flip of a switch ) is the PSE .
It sounds fantastic at higher revs and you will not have any resonance problems .

I recommend a mix, I am running PSE mufflers with AWE Cats and Evo Headers. Really liking the sound of this Frankensystem!

Try a TUBI...

Tubi sounds like PSE until you wind it out and then it screams!! Had one on a Cayman S and I was always hunting for underpasses and tunnels to roar through. Try Youtube for different sounds on the 997...

I loved my Tubi F77 . It sounded identical to this clip and cabin noise was ideal . No drone . Awesome system.

Here is another clip minus the F77 airbox. Just Tubi exhaust alone .

This must be the most asked question on any Porsche forum. Do a search on 'exhuast', 'PSE', 'AWE', 'headers', etc. etc and you'll literaly find thousands of comments on all exhaust system variables.

FYI - I have X51 headers and PSE. Great sound which is switchable to 'quiet mode' in situaltions were you want to be 'stealth'.

Good luck on your decision.

tubi - loud?

I always thought and read that TUBI sounded great but was definetly never considered to be quiet at any RPM range over a couple thousand. I love it at WOT, but at low RPM's is it actually fairly tame or even loud at low revs?
