got my car washed today and im waiting behind a brand new MB S63 amg...! This moron had a brand new MB S550 which is a 100k vehicle and decided that he should make it look like a 63. So he replaced all the badges on the back, side, etc but nothing else. Some of these people are just weird, who does that....POSER!

I honestly do not buy his story. I am pretty sure he just wanted his wife to have the better one. My neighbor has a bmw "m6" but i can swear it looks like the same as my 650i. Lol maybe these idiots should at least change the bumpers and stuff too......

I saw one of those the other day .. The sun-roof and small rotors gave it away though; otherwise it was a very good *conversion*

The sunroof is actually an option. Instead of having the carbon fiber top, u can have the sunroof but the rotors, ya well the guys an idiot.

Love the S badge on the base car. They are dead on about the color discussion though.

I guess some people think it is trying to pose while others just don't know better.

As mentioned no where in the AD did they mention it was an "S" or had the motor of an "S" or anything "S" related.

Many people who have never owned a Porsche or even those who do would know the difference. Just because you drive it doesn't mean you know what you are driving. There are features of every car that takes those who don't Read The Manual a while to know or figure out.

I would call it more of a Poser if they said it was an "S" trim and it not being an "S". But to each their own.

I figured a badge that says S is as good as putting it in the ad. I suppose they could have bought an S and swapped out the tailpipes, brakes, wheels and tires with base equipment. I'd say it is more likely that they swapped the rear badge, though.

It is. It had to be an add-on after the fact.

Scam

I am not one to take offense to harmless posing by those who wish they could drive one of these fine autos. However, I do take offense to a used car sales turd who tries to deceive some poor uninformed buyer who has worked hard and ends up getting ripped off.

This guy is a charletan who should be prosecuted or at least be publicly stoned.
