Victor Equipment performance wheels
#3
I had a set of Victor LeMans (black w/ chrome lip) on my old 996. They looked OK, but they were heavy. I ultimately regretted having bought them- I wish I'd spent more to get the real deal Holyfield: HRE's. At this point, I have a 997S, and I have the 997TT wheels on it.
I won't do aftermarket wheels again until I am ready to drop coin for a set of HRE's. In my mind, anything else is halfway.

I can't get an idea of wheel wieghts from the Victor web site. In fact there is not even an address for them. One of my main concerns with wheels is that the cheap ones bend easily, then you have to replace the rim with another cheap one and the cycle starts.

Wheels are very important to the way the car performs, and the old saying you get what you pay for is very true.
I had a set of HRE's awesome wheels, would buy them again in the future. I think that BBS, Champion, and a few others are good options.

I had a set of VE's on my Cayenne...they were 22s and looked AMAZING...heavy, YES, but when you have 22s on a Cayenne it doesnt really matter at that point.
Would i go with them on a 911? Maybe...but they are def the 'show' type not the 'go' type of wheels. Obv the best of both worlds is a show n go wheel but to get that you better pull out your checkbook!
