Paint chip repair using Langka product
I found this product while researching ways to repair paint chips in my hood (caused by previous owner of course). Has anyone had experience with it?
http://www.langka.com/
It came recommended on another forum, and avoids need to do any spot color sanding of touch up areas.

It is a very good product.
I bought the kit but have not yet myself used it although I have a friend who has done wonders with it on his 360.
It does work.
Take a look at this too. http://online.wsj.com/article_print/...676366607.html

True but Dr. ColorChip can't match all the Ferrari OEM colors!
Don't give up on the Langka though. With a name like that it has to be good!!!

Langda Product
I have used this product. Results will not be perfect but at least it fills in the chips and levels out the touch up paint. However, I can still see the original outline of the chips. This is because when a rock hits the paint, it actually "lifts up" the edges of the chip. I also found that it takes quite a bit of rubbing with the "solvent" to finally level out the "paint blob". Be sure that the car is very clean of any dirt , dust, etc. because when you rub on the blob eliminator , you can actually scratch the surrounding paint if it is not real clean. Lots of manual labor overall. One final note, I found that I had to do some areas a couple of times because the touch up paint shrinks. Hope my input helps. Good luck.

The Meguiars sanding blocks work well. I have had good success with the 2000 grit block. Moving it in one direction (usually toward you) over the touch up paint blob will provide a level smooth surface. It will most definitely work quicker than the solvent. Follow it up with a good compound and polish and you can get a great result

I tried it many years ago and it was (much) less than perfect. Since then I've used professional paint chip guys. They're cheap (less than $100) and do it everyday for a living, so their skills are well honed.
This is a classic art vs. science exercise and Langa tries to make it into a science - get an "artist".
