plenum installed
After reading some of the posts on here regarding the notorious IPD plenum, i decided to try it out for myself. Greg from RSS was extremely knowledgeable and clarified some of the misconceptions regarding this simple mod. If anyone is interested in it i suggest calling him directly, as i found him to be very helpful. Anyway I installed it about a week ago and I am absolutely pleased with it. Now lets not get it wrong, this simple mod does not throw u back in the seat, however there is an absolute power gain. In any case, it takes about 20 min to install and is very easy to do yourself. Hopefully the pics will show that.

How lomg have you had yours on? I ask this because on my 997tt the ECU adapated to it within the first 100 miles after the GIAC software meshed with the new part.
In short --mine improved even more with time.

Thanks for the photo's, I am planning to do this mod in the next month, I think that talking to Greg is a great idea, he has obviously been asked every question in the book, as he had a quick and logical explanation for everything.

Thanks for the photos, I will install it in 2 weeks after I receive it. What tools do you need, besides screw drivers ? You must have fast hands to get all these done in 20 mins !

You will need some reverse Torx sockets to get the TB off other than that nothing exotic.
I agree on the fast hands comment, but following the directions on the RSS site does make it easier. It can be done comfortably in an hour.

you should also get a pick type screwdriver so you can easily get the edges of the hoses easily connected over the plenum. thats about the only difficult part. i think that im pretty ok with the minimum repairs, average id say, good luck
