I would be interested. I have been looking for some other folks to go and this would be a good opportunity. I live south of Nashville and it would be a short drive for me. I am fairly flexible on dates.

 

997's for the track, Cayennes and Boxsters for autox and other things I believe. You don't drive your own car there. .

My dad did the normal and the masters course.

I am very interested and a late July early Aug date would be great.

 

So far I have approximately 8-9 potential drivers interested.
Before I start calling to negotiate a group rate, lets try to nail down a date that works for all.

I am leaning towards the 1st week in November.

Just finished speaking to JEFF @ Barber.

1. There is a price increase slated for August 1st ($3250), therefore we SHOULD book before, most of the summer sessions are almost full and will NOT accommodate a large group.

2. A 10% discount will be offered for groups of 25 or more. Only! I tried every angle in the book--

If you mean Jeff Purdy, he's a great guy and an excellent instructor. You do get a 10% discount if you book the Masters course within a month after taking the 2 day high performance course. You don't have to take the Masters within that timeframe. It can be anytime afterwards.

It's worth every penny! Those who have gone will agree with that sentiment.

 

Yes; Jeff was very honest about the price increase.
He also stated that the program is mostly funded by Porsche as a part of their marketing. The reason for the increase is that they are much less compared to similar programs b/c of corporate funds.

 

I'm interested but fall is a no-go as it is the start of my busy season.

 

Fly Southwest into B'ham and carry on your bag. I travel on biz 4 days a week for the past 13 years, fly Southwest and carry on and never had a problem.

 

I am booked to go to the Skip Barber 2 Day High Performance Driving School starting 6/11/08.
