Another BIG PLUS for Eric at Bumperplugs. I've bought A LOT of things from him lately and he's been extremely nice and patient with me being a newbie. Thanks again!

I'm interested in getting an ipod into my 987. How well does the dension work with the BOSE sterero (CDR 24, no navi) ?

Is the ipod located in the glovebox or in the rear center console?

Can I control everything form the head unit buttons or do I need to fumble around with the ipod itself to do things like change tracks, or select an album, or choose to random shuffle from my whole library?

Thanks!

The mobridge unit sounds compelling as well...

I vote for mObridge. Check out my review here.

Eric, you should carry these bad boys. They're rock solid.

Do you have to remove the PCM to install Dension or do you just have to access some wires under the dash?

On the CDR24, the Dension will work fine, and you control the iPod from the head unit, you just won't have the display as you would on a PCM vehicle.

No need to remove PCM, but you can bring the fiber from the PCM to the Dension and back to the amp, or mount it in the front trunk.

Elmel, unit is too new....not yet in high volume numbers. We did discuss the product with them last year, but as Dension has been out for nearly 18 months now, and is a huge R&D operation with updates frequently and new product in development, we stuck with a winner we knew well. Not enough known yet. Keep us posted.

Eric,

Who would you recommend doing the install in the MD/DC/VA area?
