wrs....we are the primary US distrib for Dension, and we also carry the Tooki Bluetooth unit. I can attest to the Dension being the better option for iPod integration on your 997, but others may chime in. Email me for a special on the Dension, eric@bumperplugs.com We sell it everyday for below list price ($465 on our order page). Thanks.

Don't get the NavTV. Quirky and at times won't work at all. I hate it!

You can do the Dension install yourself, or we have some recommended installers in some parts, or a dealer can do it as well. We offer up the links and install info to all purchasers, and we run any/all troubleshooting for you directly with Dension engineering.

+1 on Dension +1 on Bumperplugs.com

Ordered my Dension from Eric at Bumperplugs.com.

Relatively easy DIY install if you are accustomed to working on your car.

If not, let a pro do it for a couple hundred.

Works great.

Question

Is it controlled through your current NAV screen or do you have to control it on the IPOD?

Complete control through PCM. And remember, Dension is an R&D company, so they are constantly adding features/improvements through firmware updates, which are quite easily done in 2 minutes on your unit's USB port.

Yes, Atomic80 I think was our first customer running both. They work independently of each other.
