Is CPO warranty transferable?

stupid question. just bought a 05 that was CPO when the previous owner bought it. do I have to do anything to register or what?

i believe the CPO transfers to the new owner within the valid period. you don't have to register anything but the CPO status is identified in the computer system. but CPO is void if a dealership rather than porsche is ever involved in the sale. this is what i am told by my dealer few years ago.

I heard this as well (with another make) but when I asked another dealer about this he said it is a scare tactic to keep me away from the other car.

I would call PCNA @ 1-800-PORSCHE, give them the VIN and ask them.
