I think you are missing it. Florindi has already told us how this has gone. RSS is holding up the posting of the results which is the worst thing that could happen imo. Florindi....do the right thing.

This was florindi telling us what happened on Sat after his car was tested w the rss plenum. I for one would think it better to see the graphs. Post the graphs and let Greg have the floor to talk to us. The alternative is damning. G

Look I am not saying that Greg was forcing me not to post. He simply said that if he had a choice, then he would rather I not. I would do the same if I was him. He posted results today for a car that showed positive results. Maybe I am just unlucky.

Is this graph for a stock 997S with just the plenum added??? no other mods?

NOTO BENE: in his origional posting Flor. showed 3 other dyno runs: peak hp 304.7, 315.47. 310.95!!!!! Do you see it. (or anm I missing s.t.)? The dyno does not resolve finely enough and is not consistent enough to tell us what we are looking for. BTW, thanks florindi. You are a good guy. Gerry

What's not explicit? I ran four runs before and after. I only plotted the best run from before and after. My car is bone stock. I got 322 hp 274 tq max before and ended up with 319 hp 274 tq after. Look at the after plot, I gained a few horses and torque from 3-4K and lost throughout the rest of the range.

florindi's post is what you should see. A change in where the power falls in the rpm range yet no addition to peak power. Even the scientific community could certify that chart.

OK. The complete story. That was the best RSS result vs the best oem. q: were the RSS results any more consistent than the oem? ie less than an 18 hp spread? I'm wondering about the results averaged out. Thanks

I am not sure I understand your premise. Are you presuming that the oem plenum is the optimum one? Is it not possible to produce a piece that is better and if not why?
