Tooki Update
#26
I just had TOOKI installed (Al and Eds /Costa Mesa) with my BlackBerry (World Edition).
It works fine and it did download my phonebook from my PC.
A couple of notes: You need to keep the voulume of the caller "down" because it reverbiates through the MIC and causes an uncomfortable ECHO for the caller. Once that was figured out it works fine. Not as "great" as my stock BLUETOOTH sytem on my previous 6 Series BMW- but fine nonetheless.
July 1st in California HANDSFREE becomes the LAW!

Hey David ... here's how I do the update from a Mac ... On my Apple Macbook I run the application program Parallels, a hypervisor program, and I have Windows XP installed as a guest operating system. In that environment I can download and execute the Tooki update using the built-in Bluetooth on the Macbook.
If you don't have the software environment of Parallels and the Microsoft OS then this Mac solution might be complex and expensive simply for the interim NavTV updates.

ez,
I tried that and I can't get a bluetooth connect to the tooki.
I have a Macbook air with bluetooth running parallels and Windows XP SP2.
Still a no go. Parallels says they do not support bluetooth. How'd you do it and I can't? I am at a loss and I really need to update my tooki. Thanks.

I tired an I can't seem to get the Bluetooth setting on my Imac with Parallels to work. I would imagine it is in the settings or perhaps it needs to be added (Add Hardware). I will see if I can get mine to work later.
