Well, I'm fairly certain they will be priced below $9k, as I mentioned in the original post (and when I say below, I don't mean they'll be $8995, haha). I'm hoping if we can get enough of them at once, we can get them well below that point, much like we do with the 996 GT3 seats.

The service manager and sales guy that I worked with when I bought my car were certain that they could "jerry rig" the heated seats into these awesome chairs but it would be expensive, non-OEM and not 100% guaranteed certain.

In the end, I chose to pass since I was already spending more on interior bits (full leather, carrera red leather, etc.) that I originally planned on spending.

they are awesome, but $9k is out of control. i think i'll stick to the ones that don't fold, and just bribe me kids with some of the spare $7k so that they don't mind climbing over the seat to get in the back.

The Pusher is infamous around these parts
I just had the opportunity to see these seats in person, they are awesome. Defintely not a true "racing" seat, but more of a "damn that looks good" seat. They are suprisingly comfortable as well. Of course, the one I sat in was not in a car. Champion had them in stock and the guys in the parts department let me go in the back to see and feel them. Definitely not for the budget minded though, even with the business relationship I have with them, they were over 7K for the set! One other thing I noticed was, that they didn't recline. They only fold forward.

They do have the hole in the shell for the sub-belt.
