LF: Fabspeed Muffler Bypass Pipes
Hello,
I am lookig for a set of Fabspeed Muffler Bypass pipes. I was wondering if someone may have a used set they want to get rid of. I am looking for fitment for a 997 C4S, so I assume I would need the 997S fitment (correct me if I am wrong). PLease feel free to contact me with any leads. Thank you.
Also I was wondering if these would be appropriate for a Daily Driver, an what are the down sides of putting these on. Thanks.

Is there some reason you want to lose low end power? Other than increased noise and slightly better power near redline, they are a waste of money for a NA engine. You do, however, save some weight. Too loud for street legal.

I have a set if you are interested. E-mail me at accutechdental@sbcglobal.net if you want them. I paid $300 plus expensive overnight shipping. Had them on my C2S for 3 months. I'll give it to you for real CHEAP.
My C2S is a daily driver and I got sick of cops staring at me.... didn't know whether they were appreciating my car or if popo was wondering why I shifted into neutral as I passed him by .
Anyway, let me know.

I just added these to my X51 and the car loves it. There is a small amount of torque loss at the bottom, but at the top the car pulls harder. Also handles better due to loss of 40lbs off the rear. The sound is wicked. I don't think its any louder than the F430 I was in the other weekend or countless lambo's I see here in LA.

Its really not that noticeable unless you're always launching your car hard out of first gear from every light....

I'll give them a try and see how I like them. Thanks for the input.

I'm looking for a set too, but am new to the forum and don't have the minimum # of posts required to PM people. If someone is interested in selling, please email me on alex.brat@rogers.com and I will respond accordingly. Thanks.
