Heat and Humidity. But come on it gets pretty hot in Vegas too. I think it's the car wash places I go. But they wash anything from a 3er to a 599. Pretty decent shops that I go with my 06 987. I think it's probably from the stuff they clean the interior and the sun gets it. But I still can't figure out. If they already know this will F*CK up the interior parts. They wouldn't be putting the stuff on my car. I heard the new cars are all made with recyclable materials. My car is out of warranty too! arrrh

Pekopeeus, call your dealership,am sure they can be able to fix, with a peeling kit or something, especially since the area's peeling are very small so nothing to worry about.
Also,I don't think have been using a good Dashboard Wax protector or more importantly in this case a window sun/heat shield. Am assuming your car is consistently exposed to intense heat, hence the dash board peels. Your car is all black inside and outside, black exteriors absorb heat big time and the same goes for black interiors especially if your windows dont reflective tinted windows that blocks solar heat. (i hope your seats are also getting protection,la good leather wax protector helps, you dont want ugly heat marks). Hope some this tips are helpful.

The car is 6 years old and the 996 was never famous for its interior quality but it is my opinion that it is inexcusable to have paint corrosion . Porsche did upgrade the 997 model line beautifully in comparison.
Discuss it with your dealership and my guess is that they will try and sell you a new car . It may be a bad idea either --just kidding .
Seriously though --I hope your dilema is resolved to your satisfaction.
