That is correct. The sc kit was sold as the Evoms/Vf Sc kit. You can still see the kit on some of their old magazine ads. Evoms has pulled the kit from their website. I don't know the exact reason why, just that they wanted to go in a different direction. Vf now markets and sells the kits. I don't know exactly how they are changing but they said that they would run more boost for more power.

BTW: I love mine!
Congrats and please keep us posted.

VF is a stand up company. I remember when they first started the E46 M3 FI kit. Can't wait to see the progress and result for the Porsche FI kit.

I am very pleased with VF-Engineering. Over the past month, I've worked with Nik on some supercharger maintenance questions and he is very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

What type of maintenance do you need to perform on the Sc kit? I just know that you need to check/fill the coolant for the I/C. Any others?

So what is the discount for a "sponsored" car? Don't worry we won't tell Nik.

Does the s/c have its own oil reservoir or will you have to tap into the car’s system?

Exactly. No one ever told me when and how often to check until I spoke with Nik ... Go figure

I have one of their kits in my car, it has been about a 1000 miles so far, and I love it. I am very interested in this upgrade. I assume it would just be a reprogramming of the ECU.

Is it an intercooled intake like Ruf and/or a third radiator?

Im not to familiar with the ruf kit, but the VF kit has watercooled I/C with its own water pump, lines and fill canister. Its self contained. It also comes with a with an oem front radiator like the gt3.

hjacobs2000,

Sorry to hear and good luck...

We dropped off our 645Ci back in 2004 as part of the sponsorship package. They used our car at bimmerfest and put a proto hardware in there. VF had the car for over 10 months and nothing was ever done. It's 4 years later now and they still have never delivered a product...

Hope you have better luck....

Personally, I would never-ever work with Nik at VF again...

I always wondered about that, the 645ci supercharger kit seemed like it was in development forever. I think it is still listed as coming soon on their site.

That would worry me a bit but they do have M3 and 911 superchargers out that seem to work well.
