Tires from Tirerack with TPMS

OK so I bought 4 tires from tires from tirerack and I chose the Vehicle, Make, Model, Year, and chose the with TPMS option. So my question is does it come installed inside the tires, separate in the box, or do I have to buy them separate?

Thanks.

their seperate, they install on your rims. But does your car have TPMS from the factory? if it does then they are already on your wheels.

Yes, I have TPMS on the car(factory). So I can for the moment take them out from my factory wheels and install them in the new one?

TIA

I would think you could. May want to ask your dealer to make sure.

yes you can, but you can also buy a second set on sensors for your new wheels.

Sounds like you just bought the tires (not any wheels) so you don't need new TPMS sensors, assuming your car already has TPMS. You just need to mount the new tires. Make sure the installer doesn't try to sell you new valve stems and tell them to be careful of the TPMS inside the rim.

We do that for wheel sales. If the car has TPMS we need to know if we need to add sensors to wheel packages before the tires go on. Also, if your car has TPMS you have the option of buying runflat tires.

Only a handful of companies make the TPMS sensors, so most all of what we sell is the same as OE.

What runflat tires are recommended for an 06 997S with classic 19"s?

I'd be interested too - I wasn't sure anyone was making runflats in the sizes we need. Runflats would be great for roadtrips.

Actually i don't have run flats.....I just wanted the TPMS to catch when the tire goes flat quicker so it doesn't ruin the side wall.
