997TT Style Wheels on Non-tt

Anyone have the turbo style wheels on their 997? What is everyone's opinion on doing that?

I don't see anything wrong with it, personally. If you are changing wheels, you may want to go for something more unusual, but to each his own.

I have four Turbo wheels sitting in my garage . It's the first thing i took off my Turbo cosmetically as i felt that even though they are a good quality stock wheel they look very Corvette ish . I'm not criticizing the Corvette but moreso saying that the wheels looked mis matched for the porsche ,

If you want a traditional wheel there are so many choices which can cost near the same .

I'm not selling my Turbo wheels . I'm keeping then if ever I sell the car in stock form rather than modded .

I got 'em as a factory option. I thought they were the best of the stock wheels. It was my thought that, if I were to go aftermarket, I could sell the stock wheels and the turbos would probably bring the most $$. Now that I've had the car for 6 months the turbo wheels have really grown on me and I like them with my color (midnight blue). Think I'll keep 'em.

I have them on my C4. I know a lot of people don't like them, but I think they are very attractive. Plus they are the only forged 997 wheel.

Not a fan. They look better than the lobsters though. Take a look at champion or hre. You can reduce unsprung weight with a more unique look. Good luck

I have them on my white 997s, l love them, i get lots of compliments on them and it was a must have option, i even had the dealer switch the original carrera sport wheels that came on the car to the turbo wheels. However, if i were to go aftermarket i would get HRE's for sure, well made, great rep, awesome look

My white 997S came with them an dthey look nice and I have received more compliments on them than the Carrera Sport whels I had on my last 997S.

If you buy some after market for a C2 S the offest is 57 front and 67 rear. Wheels from a C4S or Turbo will stick out beyond the fender lip.
