Daytrader, one thing to keep in mind is the GT3 3.6L engine sounds different than our 3.8L engine. The Gt3 is just louder normally without any exhaust help and the 3.6 tends to wail/howl more than a 3.8L.

PorscheAudio, there are some Tubi equiped cars where I track. Plus I have checkout the F77 997S in person at Champion in Florida. The Tubi sounds way different than the F77 video that is on the net. I do not know what they are doing there but the F77 car I demo'd and the Tubi cars at the DE's are really kind of quiet. They sound nice but almost stock like quiet.

The guy pitted next to me at this weekends DE is HardcoreNice from this forum and he had AWE 200cel cats and mufflers. His car sounded great and when he went by it was no louder than cars with PSE. It sounded very nice too and I believe most of it was due to the 200 cell cats as I know AWE mufflers are very quiet. At idle his car is almost stock like and this is a good thing for the street.

Another guy I DE with and he is on the board too is MKK and he has a full Fabspeed system. His car sounds really good too but a little louder than HardcoreNice's car.

There is not a whole lot of difference like many think between the sound of these exhaust systems because the engine making the sound is all the same. Just slight volume and harmonic differences but nothing night and day.

 

Mdrums --I have sound clips of my old car . I don't wish to upload onto youtube but can e mail a few clips. I don't know how to do this via PM .

My car did sound like the F77 car . It had the F77 box , Ecu. Evoms headrs , Tubi exhaust. It was very , very close.

Keep in mind that audio enhancements and professional videotape as an advertisement usually emphasize the best clips . My four or five little clips are minimal in comparison but you can hear the sound .

Is this your e mail at the bottom of sig ? If so I will . Keep in mind these clips are small files and In originally was sending them to a buddy of mine so I might be describing things to him (if I recall correctly ). I will search for them now.

 

I'm waiting for a set of Fabspeed cat's to come in. I plan on running them with the stock mufflers,and Suncoast headers. I will post a clip in a week or so so you can hear it.

 

Search "rennsport-one" on youtube.....a video I came across a couple weeks ago. (can't post the link from work) I met the owner of the car while down in Miami a couple weeks ago and got a chance to hear it in person.....sounded really aggressive at WOT but nice and mellow cruising. I think his username is Call911 on here.

 

I have the PSE and it was the best thing I could have ordered for my car.Now that I found out that a bypass pipe does the same thing I could have saved 2.5k.Get the bypass pipe thats the way a porsche should sound.Stock is too quite
