The Tubi exhaust is Italion made light quality exhaust which provides an amazing sound on the 997S . In fact Ferrari and Tubi are symphonic .
Combined with the F77 carbon airbox and ECU flash it sounds like this . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMWLpdVrhWU
Listen to this Ferrari --Yikes

I got this modified stock exhaust from FisterD (6speeder now) and it really sounds good. No power gain though but cheap and stock. You don't really get that much power gain from just exhaust mod anyways.

For years reading, experimenting with different of exhaust mods. Nothing really made me happy with the result. I did drop a bunch of money for a Fabspeed headers, cats, and mufflers with the loud version. To my surprised it was not aggressive enough. I only save weight with the syst. Keep on tinkering with my ideal exhaust I came up with the idea of remove the cats, mufflers and run a straight pipe similar to OEM cat plumbing and tack a resonator where the cat used to position. I was not able to find any resonator that would fits nicely under the rear bumper so I left the idea on the shelf.
The next idea I have in mind is using a 997S cans modified with twin by-pass pipes and retain the OEM cats. Well, I did the mod a month ago. After installed of the new 997 cans and started the car up I can hear music in my ears. Did some test to hear the sound and the result was much better than MKII hacked and way better than my Fabspeed. I did comparison with other exhaust brands from my friend's cars. I realized my mod. was worth every penny and time that I clocked in . Now I can't wait to drive the car on the weekend and listen to the intoxicating sound come out behind my car.
Bang! This weekend I attended a gathering of Porsche cars with friends. We were mingled with other car enthusiasms when we heard a howling sound from a distance. We're immediately looking around to see what is coming. For a minute or two we couldn't spot the beast that roar anywhere. Then I spotted a black 996 with GT3 RS slowly roll up to where we are standing. I walked up the car and asked the driver "is that an RS?" he replied " No just the widebody kit similar to RS". Next, I walked back to the rear of this Beast and looked down to see what made that unbelievable sound. Good God! The set up look so familiar to my idea that I was once wanted to create.
All SS and shine through the rear bumper, the straight pipes with resonators. I was so happy and satisfied that someone thought the same idea that I have. I thanks the owner and walked away with a big smile.

I am going with Borla headers and exhaust.
