my porsche dealer informed me that porsche will soon be coming out with an ipod intergration. He said it was supposed to be available in Feb of this year, but apparently there is some delay.

Retro ipod adapter is fm modulator, no PCM info. Go Dension, Nav-tv or mObridge for PCM readouts. Or get PCM version 3 with intergrated everything...(09 997) ;>)

I have a Macally FM transmitter that sits on the cup holder, can charge up iPhone or iPod and also has an audio that can plug in other players ! Decent quality - compare with Ice-link I had on my Cooper S
